Monkey Balloon Art

These monkeys were part of a Birthday Party celebration this past weekend.  Yes, the monkeys are missing a tail.  That's because the theme was Curious George and everyone knows Curious George doesn't have a tail.

Mermaid Costume Made from Balloons

Balloon Fashion isn't just for fun. Just don't tell my little mermaid that. She had fun at a costume party, before modeling it for two events the next day. When used as an advertising or marketing tool a Balloon Dress or costume can draw attention to your cause or business.

How to get your business noticed.

Tangles Salon & Spa wanted something that would draw attention to themselves during an annual sidewalk sale for Annie Oakley Days. They have a great location, right down the street from a major brand store that always has crowds during this sale. But shoppers seem to have blinders on when heading to this major brand store, even when they park right in front of the salon.

We created a bigger than life balloon sculpture of a model and positioned her just outside the salon. And as everyone knows a bigger than life model needs a bigger than life blow dryer. If you drove by a store that had a 7' lady model on one side and a blow dryer on the other, I'm fairly certain you wouldn't assume they sell tractor parts.

Shoppers stopped to see the balloon sculptures, take pictures, ask questions about the balloons sculptures as well as the salon, and of course they shopped. Even the local newspaper sent a crew.

The next time you want to draw attention to your business, forget the balloon arch. Let Balloon Creations & Gifts L.L.C. / balloongeeks.com design an attention grabbing balloon sculpture for your business. Sure a balloon arch is cheaper, but what impression do you want to leave with your clients or customers?

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty balloon sculptures would be a big hit at your Hello Kitty theme party. The pink Hello Kitty stands 3 feet tall and would look great on the cake or gift table. Of course all of our balloon sculpture make great gifts themselves. Our philosophy on a balloon sculpture as a gift, "Take pictures to make it last forever, but lay it to rest before you have to dust it, after all, we can always make another one, or two, or three . . ."

A Night In Paris

A Night in Paris was the theme for Jackson Centers 2011 Prom. The juniors helped to construct all the balloon work and we think they did an outstanding job. When I went back to check on the balloon sculptures the next day, I only had 1 leaf on a bunch of grapes I needed to replace. We love working with the juniors each year to decorate for prom. The best part is always seeing the teens confidence grow as we go along. First responses are usually something like, "We're gonna' make WHAT out of balloons?" "I can't tie a balloon." "What if it pops?" But by the end of the day it's, "Wow!" "I can't believe we did that." "Nobody better pop this." "You guys do this all the time?"

Things may not always go as you planned them when working with balloons and novices. And if those novices are teenagers, well it just adds to the fun. It helps if you are creative, quick thinking, good at problem solving, keep a sense of fun and humor, and stay flexible. Thank you, Tina Alt (my business partner) and Cathy Tenney (Jackson Center prom advisor) for being all of those things.

Coffee for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and tacos for dinner, at least it wasn't escargot (snails) or cuisses de grenouilles (frog legs) to match the theme of the prom. Looking forward to next year.

Alice In Wonderland Prom

We were in Ft. Loramie, OH yesterday and helped them with decorating for prom a bit. Yes, that tree is made from balloons and the students helped us get it together. The students made the cardboard figures at school in art class. Since this school makes most of their prom decor they have a small budget, but by picking 2 balloon decor pieces the were able to make a big impact.

Link-O-Loon Teddy Bear

This is not a cute little balloon teddy bear. It's an adorable teddy bear that sits almost 2 ft. high. Just imagine the squeals of joy and the big smiles this balloon sculpture could bring to your next birthday party. Know someone who is having a baby? Imagine how this bear would stand out among the other balloons, stuffed animals and flowers delivered to the hospital. And I have a feeling that this giant bear would love to play a few games at a baby shower.

Send a Balloom Buddy Instead of Cut Flowers

There's nothing wrong with sending flowers. But if you want them to be remembered, try sending a Balloom Buddy from Balloon Creation & Gifts LLC. A Balloom Buddy is a balloon critter holding Ballooms. What are Ballooms? Balloon blooms of course. Don't see the critter you want to send? Just ask us by email at ballooncreations@balloongeeks.com. We ship them anywhere in the USA. Have you ever shelled out $$$ to a florist to send flowers to someone? Ever wonder what the flowers you sent looked like? Was what you wanted to send actually what they received? You won't have to call your friend and ask, "What does it look like?" At Balloon Creations & Gifts LLC we'll email or text you a picture of the actual Balloom Buddy you sent.

Were Holiday Sales A Bit Sluggish Last Year

You can blame the economy for sluggish sales again this year or you can do something to attract the shoppers to your location. Did you like going out to look at Christmas decoration when you were a child? Have you carried on the tradition with your family? We like looking at holiday decorations. Otherwise holiday decorations wouldn't be a multi-billion dollar industry. Do your customers know what your Christmas decorations will look like, because you do the same thing every year? If so they may not even register with your customers anymore. Are they still talking about your decorations the next month? Do they even talk about them while they are in the store?

Give your customers a reason to come to your business this holiday season. You're going to decorate for the holidays, let us create a holiday atmosphere that causes your customers to text or call family, friends, and neighbors. Instead of the same old Christmas decorations, try something different, balloon sculptures. How about a giant balloon Christmas tree? A Santa's village? Nutcrackers? Giant Snowmen? Ornaments? Snowflakes? Fireplace? Wreaths? You can completely change the decorations you use every year or start by replacing one piece or section. We can design your holiday decor to enchant your customers for the entire holiday season and leave them wondering what will you do next year.

How We Can Help Your Business

Balloons tied to a sign or mailbox tell people passing by, "Hey, there something special happening here." A balloon arch on a sidewalk downtown tell people going by, "Hey, there's a new business or something going on over there." But how many people today really have time to stop and find out what is happening?

And have you ever heard a conversation about an arch sighting a few days later? It goes something like this, Mary asks Sue at lunch the next day, "Did you see that arch downtown yesterday?"

Sue replies, "No. I didn't go downtown yesterday. What was it for?"

Mary answers, "I don't really know I didn't have time to stop. Pass the salt, please."

However, if we think a little more creatively we can convey a much more specific message in the time it takes a car to drive by your shop. Say you're opening a dance studio, a giant ballerina sculpture made from balloons out front not only says, "Hey, come and look at me." But also says, "A business associated with dance is over there and something big must be happening. You don't want to miss this."

The conversation then changes. Mary is having lunch with Sue again. She asks, "Did you see that giant ballerina downtown yesterday?"

Sue answers, "I didn't get downtown yesterday, but I saw it on the news. Did you see it?"

Mary replies, "I couldn't miss it. I had Addison with me so we had to stop. Sally's Dance Studio had it out front for there grand opening."

Sue says, "I wish you would have called me. I'd love to seen Addison's face. I know she loves ballerinas."

Mary says, "The next time I see a 10' ballerina I'll be sure to call you right away. I signed Addison up for a class on Tuesdays. You should enroll Colleen."

The waitress, who has just set there lunch in front of them asks, "Did you see that ballerina in front of Sally's?"

"Did everyone see it but me?" Sue asks.

"I didn't get to see it in person," says the waitress, "but it was on the front cover of the local paper today. My little girl now wants to be a ballerina. Decaf or regular?"

A balloon sculpture that draws attention and represents your business is not a decoration. It's a marketing and advertising tool. By it's self it will generate "word of mouth" advertising. Add a few press releases, well placed phone calls, and proper marketing campaign and you could have a media event on your hands.

Happy Sweet 16

Approximately 500 balloons were use to create a fiesta style atmosphere for this birthday celebration. The colors chosen were those of a southwestern sunset. Matching the turquoise blue color to a balloon was simple, the balloons actually come in that color. Matching the amber color called for stuffing one color balloon inside another color balloon. So even if the balloons don't come in a color you've chosen, sometimes we can mix balloons and still get the result you want.
