Ceiling decor can brighten up any venue as you see here at St Pat's.  St Pat's has a gymansium size ceiling which is great for ceiling decor.  The Fantasy Cloud has been the most popular.  If you plan on having your Wedding Reception or Special Event at St Pat's let us show you our book or speak to Wende at St Pat's to see the beautiful ceiling decor that is available.

Balloon Flower Corsage

Who would have ever thought you could make corsages out of balloons.  They look a lot nicer then silk and they last longer then the live flower.  This particular corsage is for Tami.

For the Budget Minded Bride

Just a couple more views of the wedding we did at A Learning Place in Piqua, OH this past weekend. Simple balloon bouquets for each table, a Link-O-Loon entry arch, balloons for the head table and a 24' backdrop behind the head table. Budget minded? Aren't we all? If you're thinking thousands, you're way over. But the memories and impact to the photographs taken that day were priceless to the bride & groom and their families.

Wedding Head Table With & Without a Backdrop

We work with our brides to help them create the look they want. In the top picture you see what the head table look like when we arrived. Someone had already started the decorating. The bottom picture shows how it looked when we were finished. We added a backdrop and 5 simple balloons to turn this head table into center stage for our bride & groom and their wedding party.

Brutus The Buckeye

Warning: this may be offensive to Michigan State fans. Okay, I didn't get a picture of the finished product so you'll have to imagine how Brutus the Buckeye looks holding a balloon bouquet with Ohio State balloons. He's going to make an Ohio State fan who is turning 60, smile today.

We had a great fun at the Ft. Loramie Liberty Days Parade. Thank you to all the family that helped us put together our float. Your fun & hard work payed off; we won Best Comedy Float. Who knew? All in a days work at Balloon Creations & Gifts, LLC. Ruffles & Giggles twisted balloons in the park after the parade. Thanks again to J & K Landscaping of Sidney, OH who loaned us the trailer for our float. Our sincerest condolences at the lost of your son. God's peace be with your family.

Brady the Wedding Dog

We often get asked to make a Bride and Groom for weddings, however this Bride wanted to surprise her Groom with a life size version of their black lab, Brady. The mother and father of the bride were pleased, even when the balloon Groom dropped his hand and the balloon Brady. The Mother of the bride insisted we leave it like that as it was more like real life. She even pointed out a picture with the three of them in it to prove her point. You guessed it the future groom had his arm around the dog instead of his fiancee. The father of the bride pointed out that if we just got our Brady wet and put a water bowl in front of him he'd look just like the real Brady did the day before. We're just happy they like what job we did and wish them years of happiness together. They have a sense of humor so they're off to a good start.

Tulip Bouquet

When we get really busy at Balloon Creations & Gifts, LLC our families pitch in and lend a helping hand. Thanks to Michaela Strelow's very talented fingers we were able to finish up about 4 hours earlier on Friday. We also discovered a budding balloon artist in the family.

Long Stem Roses

We have two different styles of long stem roses made from balloons. A seven petal long stem rose (pictured bottom right) and a twelve petal long stem rose (pictured top right). A client recently purchased a 12 petal long stem rose for his wife. We're told she put it in a vase on her desk and was repeated asked if it was one of those dipped roses. Tina Alt is the talented artist behind these beautiful flowers.

Trailer Before Picture

Not our usual post, but we thought we'd show you the before picture now. I wonder what balloon decorations we'll come up with to highlight our clowns, dancing chickens and gorillas? Thank you to J & K Landscaping Services from Sidney, Ohio who will be loaning us this trailer to use in the Liberty Days Parade in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. We won't have to do sprints throughout the parade this year. Come out July 4th to see us in the parade, and then meet us over in the Ft. Loramie Park where Ruffles and Giggles will be twisting balloon art.

Link O Loon Arch for Cake Table

You have to use your imagination and picture a wedding cake under this Link O Loon arch. I can almost see the wedding photo now of the bride and groom feeding each other a piece of cake.

Rainbow Arch & Star Columns

Two Star topped columns designate a dance floor for this wedding while a navy and silver rainbow arch highlights the head table. We brought in a young helper and used more than 300 balloons for the first wedding on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Our young helper, who actually had to get up before 6 a m during summer vacation, said afterward, "Mom, I knew you and Tina worked hard, but I didn't know it was that much work to make balloon art." We gave her a break and she didn't have to go back at 11 p m to help tear it all down.

Squiggly String of Pearl Arch

A dance school in Celina, OH had us make a Squiggly Balloon Arch for their "Celebrate" dance program this Sunday. We were there during rehearsals Saturday, June 6th, and let me just say, "Wow."

Wedding Decorations

We started the first weekend in May 2009 with 2 weddings and a Confirmation.  (See separate post for Confirmation Pictures.)  A simply elegant arch highlights the head table, while a life size bride & groom watch guest sign in at our first wedding.  Five 3' balloons hold lights and tulle for the dance floor.  This ceiling is about 24' high and our feet never left the ground.

Confirmation Decorations

May 2, 2009 we decorated for Confirmation at Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Each teen received a balloon sculpture of themselves.

2009 Prom Giveaway Winner

Sidney High School was this years winner of our Prom Giveaway.  The theme of the prom - Midnight Masquerade.  We thoroughly enjoyed working with the students and staff at Sidney High School.  The students were eager to learn and help.  One of the first things they discovered - working with balloons isn't as easy at is looks.
A first baseman said his coach would never believe his arm was too sore to play ball because he worked with balloons all day.  Not to worry, we gave him a break the second half of the day and he was still able to play ball.
We started work on Thursday morning at the school.  After a few instructions on how to work our equipment and tie balloons we were ready to go.  We inflated and bagged more than 1500 balloons at the school, as well as made the centerpieces for the tables.

Friday morning we transported centerpieces & balloons by a caravan of mini-vans, suvs, and cars to Shelby Oaks Country Club where we inflated even more balloons.  The Students were able to assemble most of the pieces themselves with just a bit of instruction.   They were able to see how their hard work had paid off.
Saturday morning while the students were getting ready for their big night the staff from Balloon Creations & Gifts, LLC put the finishing touches on their prom.  By the end we estimated that we had used over 2000 balloons.  At midnight staff came back and what had taken more than a 20 people, 2 and a 1/2 days to make; took just a hand full of people less than an hour to take down.

Balloon Creations & Gifts, LLC staff is wondering who will win our Prom Giveaway for 2010?
