Tangles Salon & Spa wanted something that would draw attention to themselves during an annual sidewalk sale for Annie Oakley Days. They have a great location, right down the street from a major brand store that always has crowds during this sale. But shoppers seem to have blinders on when heading to this major brand store, even when they park right in front of the salon. We created a bigger than life balloon sculpture of a model and positioned her just outside the salon. And as everyone knows a bigger than life model needs a bigger than life blow dryer. If you drove by a store that had a 7' lady model on one side and a blow dryer on the other, I'm fairly certain you wouldn't assume they sell tractor parts.
Shoppers stopped to see the balloon sculptures, take pictures, ask questions about the balloons sculptures as well as the salon, and of course they shopped. Even the local newspaper sent a crew.
